How to improve our Community

Curb Appeal

·

A good neighbor is one who maintains the exterior of the house and lawn to the same level as the rest of the neighborhood. You don’t want your house to be the one on the street that drags down the value of homes. If you can’t mow your own lawn, hire a  lawn service to keep it tidy

Make sure that trees, shrubs, and other elements don’t creep into your neighbor’s yard. This includes tree limbs, spreading shrubs, and weeds.

Remove all bicycles, skateboards, and toys from the front yard at the end of the day.

Please mantain your fence alround your homes and Remove mold from the exterior walls and paint when necessary.

Throw out your trash if neccesary call the county for large trash pick up. Don't block side walks with your bins if you can help it, make sure it hasn't drifted into someone else's zone. Do not stored trash cans in the driveway containers need to be sinside the garage or the side or your home.

Looking after Your Pet

·
Picking up after your pet isn't just a courtesy, it's the healthy and environmentally sound thing to do. Dispose of pet waste properly–in the trash

·

Let your neighbors know that they can come talk with you if your pets are ever bothering them.

·

In Polk County, Florida, dog owners are prohibited from allowing their dog to become a stray or run at large upon any public street, sidewalk, park, other public property or private property of another. In these specified areas a dog is required to be leashed and under the direct control of the person in custody of the animal.

Social Events

Ask your guests to park in the driveway or in front of your house. Make sure they don’t block someone else’s driveway.

Please do not double park on both sides of the road, this difficults the traffic for everyone else.

Follow your area’s noise regulations. Go to The Polk County site and look up the rules regarding noise. You’ll find that certain noises, such as loud home repairs, are restricted to particular hours of the day. Keep this in mind as you go about your daily life and try to avoid being disruptive, especially during early morning or evening hours.
